ECTrade Solution
ECTrade Solution consists of ECTrade server and ECMail Distribution service. ECTrade Server is an EDI enabled partnering platform provided with
available worldwide partners for your company to trade with. The system is capable of exchanging multi-media format messages with
your trading partners through InfoEC Services. InfoEC Services provide VAN, AS2, FTPs, and SMTP communications for customers.
Message supporting formats include EDI, XML, XBRL, JPEG, PDF, etc. Data Encryption and Automatic
Message Receive Acknowledgement features are built in the ECTrade Server to protect EDI data
while transmission via the Internet. ECTrade is also built with GUI for data input of Invoice 810
and Advance Ship Notice 856 ASN to return to buyers. ECMail Distribution service is an automatic document delivery sevice via email. The ECTrade server runs on Windows
2000/XP/2003/Vista platforms.
- ECTrade system is designed with client-server configuration to support multiple EDI users to prepare Invoice, Advance Ship Notice, Remittance Advice, etc., on ECTrade Windows Applications.
- ECTrade system combines with ECMail to provide guarantee delivery service of EDI documents. The EDI documents, for example PO, PO Change, Delivery Forecast, etc., are first distributed through ECMail of InfoEC Services. And then the EDI documents will be received by ECTrade system. These steps ensure no lost of document.
- The system provides user-friendly Windows GUI for users to configure, operate and manage the system.
- It supports both UN/EDIFACT and ANSI X.12 standards.
- The system can be automated with Workflow function to handle message processes without human intervention.
- It is designed with 3-tier architecture and ODBC access.
- It has enhanced memory utilization.
- It supports multiple trading partners, branch offices and vendor codes.
- It provides tracking and logging functions to EDI message for individual trading partner.
- It supports backend integration with customer written scripts or programs.
- It is integrated with INFOMASTER ECEmpire software for in-house database applications.
